We at HousingAnywhere strive to provide the best possible platform for landlords, property managers, and tenants. We've already made significant investments to improve your experience on the platform. To keep improving the users' performance on the platform, we charge a commission fee for every successful booking you make.

For landlords and property managers in Iceland, our commission percentage is 8% of the total contract value of the tenants' stay, excluding VAT*. For instance, when a tenant books a room for 3 months at a monthly rate of €500 in rent, the total contract value of the tenant's whole stay is €1,500. The 8% commission fee would apply to this €1,500, meaning a €120 commission would be deducted from the first month's rent.

You don't have to worry about paying your commission fees, as HousingAnywhere simply deducts them from the first month's rent payout. You only pay a commission once you find a tenant who books your accommodation. You can find and download your invoices in your HousingAnywhere account.

Please contact us if you have further questions about your specific situation.

*The VAT on commission fees will be added on top of your invoices. If you are VAT-exempt, please update your billing details.
