When the new cancellation policy applies
If you change the cancellation policy on a listing, the new cancellation policy will apply to tenants who contact you after the change.
Suppose you have ongoing conversations with tenants about a place when you change the cancellation policy on the listing. In that case, the old cancellation policy will apply to their booking. That way, the tenant will not be surprised.
