A VAT identification number begins with a country code followed by a block of numbers and letters.
For example:
Ireland: IE1234567T
The Netherlands: NL000099998B57
Switzerland: CHE-123.456.789 MWST
Each EU country has its own format of VAT identification number.
The VAT ID number may be known under a different name based on your place of registration.
Adding your VAT identification number
Currently, you can add your VAT ID number if you use HousingAnywhere as a business. You can enter it with your other billing details on the Billing address page.
To add your VAT ID number
Log in to your account
Go to Payments > Payout settings > Billing addresses
Add New billing address or Edit an existing one
In the pop-up:
Select 🔘 Business
Choose 🔘 VAT ID
Enter your VAT ID number.
