How much it costs
HousingAnywhere Rent Guarantee lets you rent anywhere without a guarantor. It costs 3% of your Total Contract Value, which you'll pay as a one-time fee when you rent a place.
Total Contract Value = Monthly rent × Number of months in your rental period
Example
Let's say you're renting a place for 1 year, and the monthly rent is €1,500. Rent Guarantee for your stay will be a one-time payment of €540.
Monthly rent: €1,500
Rental period: 12 months
Total Contract Value: €18,000
Rent Guarantee (3% of Total Contract Value): €540 (one-time payment)
How it works
HousingAnywhere Rent Guarantee makes it easy to rent abroad. It’s powered by Mila, our trusted insurance partner.
If you miss a rent payment or cause damages beyond your deposit, the landlord can file a claim.
Our trusted insurance partner will assess the landlord’s claim independently and without bias. If it’s valid, they’ll reimburse the landlord promptly.
You can then pay off the balance in flexible instalments, while staying in your home until the end of your rental period.
Choosing Rent Guarantee
If the landlord requires a guarantor, you'll be asked to enter your guarantor's information when confirming a stay.
Here's how you can choose Rent Guarantee:
In Choose a guarantor, select HousingAnywhere Rent Guarantee.

Add your payment details and complete your stay.
Select 'HousingAnywhere Rent Guarantee'

Pay to confirm
That's it! You'll receive a separate email with an invoice for HousingAnywhere Rent Guarantee along with your rental confirmation.
The landlord will receive all the details about their coverage.
Refund policy for Rent Guarantee
If you need to cancel your stay and you’ve purchased Rent Guarantee, we’ll handle the cancellation manually for now.
Here's what you can expect:
Before your move-in date
If you cancel before your move-in date, you'll receive a full refund of the Rent Guarantee fee.
After your move-in date
If you cancel after moving in, the refund depends on how soon you cancel:
Within 48 hours of moving in: You'll get a partial refund of the Rent Guarantee fee.
After 48 hours: Unfortunately, no refund will be provided.
