You’ve created a listing, added your payout information, and are ready for bookings. Great! Now, all you have to do is wait for the tenant to move in so you can receive your money.
In this article, you’ll learn when you’ll get paid for bookings and payment requests, and what happens to your payout if the tenant cancels.
You can find a detailed overview of all your payouts on your Transactions page.
Payout times
Any money the tenant pays through HousingAnywhere before they move in is paid out after they move in. This applies to the booking amount and all payment requests that they pay before they move in.
When the tenant moves in without issues, the payout is sent 48 hours after your tenant’s move-in date.
Payouts for canceled bookings
Suppose the tenant cancels the booking before they move in. If you’re owed a payout according to your chosen cancellation policy, the payout is sent 48 hours after the original move-in date.
If a tenant cancels a booking within 48 hours of their move-in, your payout may be delayed while we investigate.
Payouts for last-minute bookings
A last-minute booking is one that’s confirmed within 7 days of the move-in date. For last-minute bookings, the payout is sent 7 days after the tenant’s move-in date. This is an extra security step.
Payment requests due after the move-in date
Payment requests that the tenant pays 48 hours after their move-in date are paid out immediately.
Bank processing times
After HousingAnywhere releases your payout, there’s a processing time before the money arrives at your bank.
Within Europe (SEPA): 1–5 banking days
International (SWIFT): Up to 10 banking days
If you’ve waited longer than the processing times mentioned above, your payout is delayed.
