The move-in window starts at midnight (00:00) on your move-in date. This is the date you used when confirming your stay on HousingAnywhere — you'll find it on the platform and in your rental confirmation email from us.
You have 48 hours from this date to move in and inspect the place. If everything looks good, congratulations! You can settle into your new home.
If the place is not as advertised on HousingAnywhere, you have 48 hours from the start of your move-in date to cancel your stay. Read this article for full instructions on how to cancel within the 48-hour move-in window.
Example
Your move-in date is 1 January 2026. You will have until 23:59 on 2 January 2026 to cancel your stay. After this time, the first month's rent will be sent to the landlord.
