Once you’ve listed a place on HousingAnywhere, it’s a good idea to add your payout information next. So we know where to send you the money for your bookings.
Your payout information is your billing address and a bank account. To add this information, go to Payments.
If you haven’t verified your identity yet, you’ll be asked to do that first.
To receive payouts from HousingAnywhere:
1. Verify your identity
Before you can add your payout information, you have to verify your identity.
Why do I need to verify my identity?
We provide a secure platform for all our users. To comply with EU anti-fraud, money laundering, and terrorism regulations, we’re required to verify all our advertisers.
We partner with Stripe to collect your information as easily as possible and protect your privacy.
2. Add your billing address
Once you’ve verified your identity, you can add your billing address. We need this to send you official invoices for your bookings and payment requests.
Go to Payments > Payout settings > Billing addresses.
Select Add new.
Fill in the required fields.
If you’re renting out your property as a business (not as a natural person), enter your VAT ID number if you have one. Without a VAT ID number, you won’t be able to subtract national taxes.
To use this billing address for every bank account, check Set as default billing address.
Submit.
3. Add a bank account
Go to Payments > Payout settings > Bank account
Select Add new.
Enter your IBAN or international bank details
Click on Submit.
Great! You’re almost done. Before using a bank account, you have to verify it.
Verify your bank account
After you add a bank account, you’ll receive an email to verify it. This is an extra security step to make sure your money goes to the right place.
If a bank account has the status Unverified, it must be verified before you can use it.
