When you choose a home with Worry-Free booking, your security deposit is €250 or less. This reduces the amount you need to pay upfront and gives you more room in your budget for the rest of your move.
Worry-Free booking also includes added financial protection for the landlord against eligible missed rent and tenant-caused damage. This helps landlords offer a lower deposit without taking on additional financial risk.

Do I need to activate Worry-Free booking?
No. You do not need to buy, add, or activate Worry-Free booking separately.
Simply choose an eligible home displaying the Worry-Free badge and complete your booking through HousingAnywhere.
Is a security deposit still required?
Yes. Worry-Free booking lowers the security deposit to €250 or less, but it does not remove it completely.
The deposit remains part of your rental agreement and may be used for valid amounts you owe, such as unpaid rent or tenant-caused damage.
Is Worry-Free booking available for every home?
Not yet. Worry-Free booking is currently being introduced on selected homes in France, Berlin and Frankfurt.
The badge will appear directly on the listing when Worry-Free booking is available for that home. You do not need to contact the landlord separately to check.
