If you make a booking outside the platform, we cannot offer you any safety guarantees or refunds if something goes wrong. Once you pay your first month's rent on HousingAnywhere and you're sure your landlord is not a scammer, you can then continue paying the advertiser directly; alternatively, you can ask your landlord to send you Payment Requests within the HousingAnywhere chat, to ensure safe payments.
